Delaware will begin issuing SUN Bucks (Summer EBT) benefits in June 2025 to certain groups of eligible children.  Benefits will continue to be issued to eligible families throughout the summer.

Many families will automatically receive the $120 SUN Bucks benefit this summer for each eligible school-age child.  Families who are not automatically eligible will need to submit an application.

The 2025 SUN Bucks application is available on Delaware ASSIST for families who need to apply.  Families must meet the income and program rules to qualify.  The SUN Bucks application can be completed online, completed and returned on Delaware ASSIST by email, by mail, or dropped off at a DSS office.  The deadline to apply for summer 2025 benefits is August 31, 2025.
